Adult Volunteers

We would not be the group we are without an amazing bunch of adult volunteers from all walks of life. Every week they give up their time to run brilliant programmes and camps for our young people.

Being a volunteer in Scouting does not mean jumping straight in and being a leader of a section. We are happy to welcome those who want to get involved at any level whether that is helping a couple of weeks a term or lending a helping hand at a camp or other event.

We also are blessed with having some amazing grounds in the heart of Sidcup and every now and then we run “work days” on a weekend where we ask for volunteers to help us cut back hedges, paint the hut or just help us with those jobs that we do not find time to do like putting a new shed roof up.

If you would like to help us in any way please contact us using the joining form as we are always looking for more help.

Place to belong

Our Strategy to 2035 will help us keep the focus on what we do best - giving young people a place to belong and giving them the skills to thrive.
